Why Workers' Comp?

Workers' Compensation is the one line of insurance that every customer you want to work with HAS to buy. Yet, it's the line of insurance that is most ignored by both agents and buyers. What we know is that workers' comp is the line of insurance where the client has the MOST control over their cost, if they know how to take control. The E-COMP Workers' Comp course will put you in position to help your clients and write new business using strategies developed by the Institute of WorkComp Professionals and tested by Certified WorkComp Advisors for more than 12 years.

How long is the course?

The course is broken up into ten pieces, totaling an hour and thirty seven minutes.

Who are the Instructors?

Preston Diamond has seen it all in his over 50 years as an insurance professional. He began as a producer and worked his way up to agency owner, selling his agency in 1985 (yet he still holds ownership interest in a niche book in California). Then the legendary, Gary Holgate, asked Pres and Roger Sitkins to join his consulting firm. Pres has been helping agents succeed ever since. He has consulted in over 450 agencies nationwide, sharing his expertise in systems and procedures, client acquisition, retention and sales training.

Kevin Ring is the Institute’s Lead Workers’ Compensation Analyst. He joined the Institute in 2003 after a stint as a systems manager for a mid-sized manufacturing company.
A licensed P&C agent, Kevin has an affinity for making the technical simple, whether it is computers or insurance.
Kevin’s plain speak approach is the key – whether he is presenting at an Institute, giving workshops for employers, presenting Workers’ Comp to employers or presenting teleclasses for Advisors.
His technical Workers’ Comp skills have helped Advisors through more than 430 mod worksheets.
Kevin has been published in more than two dozen print and online periodicals. He regularly speaks to groups both inside and outside the insurance industry.
